Very cool!! How’s it done? I’m new to fusing and am truing to “find my style”.
Thanks for the visit and the comment, Vic. Unfortunately, this is not a technique that I’m teaching at this time — But, I can tell you that it is made of recycled window glass, and that I’ve developed this look over the last three or four years.
To develop your unique style, I suggest playing with as many materials and techniques you can get your hands on. Combine ideas you’ve learned from several sources and keep copious notes. You can learn a lot at http://www.warmglass.com, one of my favorite websites.
Eventually, something interesting will strike. At this point, embark on creating a series. It is this process that leads to a truly individual style and voice.
If you’re interested in beginner’s classes, contact me. My studio is in Lodi, in the heart of the California Central Valley.
Regards,
Mira
